Luna

Luna - 2 year old female Miniature Schnauzer/Poodle. We are looking to rehome our schnoodle, Luna. Luna is a wonderful companion dog but she is not a family dog. Our house is very busy with many kids and visitors & Luna is very territorial and gets very stressed. She especially does not like kids. She barks at all visitors, including the ones she has known her entire life. So we put her away whenever people come over which means she spends alot of time shut up in the bathroom or outside. We love her but we have finally accepted that this is not the right home for her. Luna needs a quiet home with one or two adults, without many visitors. Luna has major anxiety issues. We have put her in professional training and after a year and a half of trying to modify her behavior the vet said that she is not wired right and put her on prozac. She is a much happier dog but still has major anxiety issues. This is evident by her constantly chewing her feet. She is very territorial at home but when she is outside the home she is very social with other dogs and people. She loves saying hello to other dogs on our daily walks and loves dog day care. She is the most wonderful companion dog for a single person. She will follow you around the house and keep you laughing at her antics and rarely gets under foot. She needs to be accepted for who she is....you can't change her. If she was capable of change ...we would keep her ourselves. She is family and I want to adopt her to someone who is willing to keep in touch. Our zip code is 90066. Please do not apply if you live more than 20 miles away.. If interestd in Luna please contact Georgina at georginamorgan@hotmail.com.
